Statistics from five UK Screen companies currently using First Mile:

Combined, the five companies have saved 61,050 KG?s of Co2 through recovering recyclable material with First Mile.  The use of this material instead of virgin material has saved 61 tonnes of Co2 in total.

This was achieved through recycling 40.5 tonnes of material (made up mostly of paper, but also plastics, card, metals and some glass)

The businesses were able to recycle all material in the same sack.  Non-recyclable material is sent for incineration where it is used to produce green energy and none of the businesses waste goes to landfill.
