Our trucks collect 7 days a week across Central London - members can use First Mile on as many or as few days as needed. Simply state the preferred collection frequency and time.

First Mile provides a ONE-SACK recycling collection service.

Throw the following materials into the SAME red/white Recycling Sack.

  • Envelopes (including those with windows)
  • Junk faxes
  • Paper hand-towels
  • Paper cups
  • Paper bags
  • Other paper-based derivatives

  • Card
  • Cardboard (or apply a Cardboard Recycling Tape to a flat-packed cardboard bundle)
  • Plastic bottles
  • Plastic milk cartons
  • Plastic vending cups
  • Plastic bags
  • Drinks cans
  • Food tins
  • Glass bottles
  • Glass jars
  • Tetrapaks

Food remains, dirty food packaging/containers, tea-bags and general kitchen waste go into a black/white Rubbish Sack - this is an optional service.

Costs:

Rubbish Sacks: 89p + VAT
Recycling Sacks and Cardbord Recycling Tape: 84p + VAT
A box of 200 Sacks/Tapes (any combination) only costs £168 + Vat.

Our prices INCLUDE delivery, collection, sorting, recycling, compliance, Duty of Care, and Waste Transfer Note.

There are NO other charges.

We simply send an invoice a few days after delivery.

There is no time-limit in getting through the Sacks/Tapes.
