Creative Video Associates provide a video tape recycling service that can reduce your carbon footprint dramatically.

By cleaning, erasing, and checking it for defects, a tape's life can be radically extended - and reusing your own tapes means new, less reliable ones, need not be manufactured. For every kilo of plastic moulded, 1.6 kilos of carbon is spewed out - our service stops this.

Using a tape even once can damage its surface, so to avoid this risk, some companies will only use them once. That's a high price to pay financially, and more importantly, environmentally. By recycling, you can extend tape life and guarantee first class quality.

What's more, if you do not have your own tapes available for recycling, our environmentally-friendly tape stock can be bought at a significant saving. We can also dispose of unwanted tapes, and in many cases we will pay you for them.

CVA is proud that our service annually prevents in excess of 36 tonnes of videotape ending up in a landfill, and that this service is available at a substantial cost and environmental saving to our customers.
