UK Screen Association - Representing the UK's Post Production and Special Effects industries

Tom Johnson, Senior Producer has joined Rushes

Joce Capper, MD, is delighted to welcome Tom to the team.

"We've known Tom for a number of years having worked at Rushes as a client.  During this time, we've loved working with him.   He's a get up and go kind of guy! His energy and motivation for making the job the best it possibly can be is boundless.  He has a natural ability for including people and ensuring everyone has a great time whilst working together.  If Tom doesn't know something he asks. His interest for learning and wanting to know more about all stages of production makes him a great addition to the Production team here.  His agency experience will assist in making him a fantastic post Producer, he can teach us all more about our clients and the current pressures they are under. I'm delighted he has joined the team".
Tom joins Rushes as Senior Producer from Grey where he gained experience dealing with large scale productions for global brands and record labels while independently producing smaller scale, live action and animation productions.  Included in the brands he worked are Fairy, Hugo Boss and Pantene.  Prior to Grey, Tom produced at VCCP with teams on commercials for Bennetts and O2, while solely producing both adapts and radio scripts for a variety of clients, including Coke Zero, Hyundai, Diet Coke and COI.

As Tom points out, "I worked with Rushes on jobs for Benettes, Pantene, Fairy and a variety of Hugo Boss projects. I honestly think I spent more time here than I did at the agency, so it seemed the obvious choice to make this my permanent residence. It's very exciting to be able to work in a company that embraces creativity, ever evolving technology and its talent in equal measures.  Well, that and being in the middle of Soho!  While working in agencies I always found post production the most interesting part of the production process, having started my career in post, I always wanted to return to it.  So when the right opportunity came along to work at Rushes, I jumped at the chance. Hopefully, having agency experience I will be better equipped to fulfil my client requirements."
Joce Capper added "The Rushes Production team, is the steady heart beat of the company, getting the right people on board is vital to our continued success.  Knowing Tom as well as we did, the timing was right .. the kismet was right!"
