Guest Speaker: Stuart Murphy (Director of Programmes for Sky 1 HD, Sky 1, 2 &3)

This new series of events is designed to give members unique access to the great and the good of the TV and film industries in an exclusive informal environment.
The esteemed Stuart Murphy (Director of Programmes, Sky 1HD, Sky 1, 2 & 3) will be kick starting the events and will be discussing his plans for Sky to a room of 20-30 members on 19th February.
Stuart joined BSkyB in May 2009 from Twofour where he was Creative Director. Bringing a broad knowledge of both the international and UK programme markets to the UK's leading pay-TV network, Murphy made an immediate impact; appointing Lucy Lumsden, Celia Taylor and Duncan Gray to his programming team, broadening Sky1's programming mix with comedy and features and making the propositions for Sky2 and Sky3 clearer.
Prior to TwoFour, Stuart was Creative Director at RDF and the first Controller of BBC Three where he commissioned hit comedies Little Britain, The Mighty Boosh and Gavin and Stacey; high profile dramas such as Casanova, Bodies and Torchwood; and popular factual shows such as Little Angels, The Real Hustle and The House of Tiny Tearaways.
Tickets are £30 to help cover costs, but places are limited, so if you would like to attend, please contact angela@ukscreenassociation.co.uk for booking details.
