'Chuck' waddles into production for world sales February 2010

The first animated series of Chuck the Eco Duck, presented by the Ultra Green Group, has commenced production.

The series is based on the 13 x 10 minute audio stories commissioned for radio by Sony Radio Award winning station Fun Kids, where Chuck cut his radio beak on the Fun Kids nationwide 'Summer of Fun' schedule.

The 13 x 7 minute series, produced by Ultra Green Films in association with Prime Focus, will be ready for delivery to broadcasters in June 2010. Chuck the ecologically minded duck and his farmyard friends provide strong entertainment and messages to children and families on caring for friends and helping to make our world a little better. The animation has been created for two to four year olds, with audio and educational designed for four to eight year olds.

Robert Sidaway at Ultra Green Films said: "Chuck, this bossy but kindly duck, is very aware of his carbon web-print, reminding us at all times to 'Love your World.'"

The series was created by Robert Sidaway & Helena Bishop and produced by Ashley Sidaway & Norma Denys. Denys will also be heading up world sales. Animation and post production were completed by Prime Focus with Mike Fraser as executive producer and Pierre Fletcher-Gray as producer. The music and lyrics were created by Maddie Rix and Oliver Payne.
