Solid investment for Alias Smith & Singh


Broadcast hire company, Alias Smith & Singh, has purchased two solid-state JVC GY-HM100 ProHD camcorders to add to its hire stock. Due to its small form factor and workflow benefits, there has been an increasing level of demand for the JVC camcorder. "When we first purchased the GY-HM100s, we knew they would do well", explains Mike Smith, Managing Director at Alias Smith & Singh. "Customers like the fact that it records to both .MOV and .MP4, allowing simple integration with their preferred editing systems, and it further shows Alias's commitment to solid state technologies."
