Artem say YES to Churchill

To tie in with the deal between Churchill Insurance and Quodos Entertainment, Artem were given the brief to create 24 Churchill dog puppets.

The puppets will appear in pantomimes around the UK alongside such panto stalwards as Christopher Biggins and Linda Lusardi.

Each puppet required the head to nod and shake, the mouth to open and close and the eyes to move left and right.

In addition, Artem were required to make a number of bases resembling large wooden packing crates.

The dog was sculpted before a silicon rubber mould was produced to make multiple casts.  Each dog was then painted and flocked to match the original, before the animatronic elements were added to give movement. The puppets were then mounted on to bases to allow a puppeteer to access them from underneath.
