An Island Parish returns to our screens for a fourth series documenting the daily life of parishioners on the remote Isles of Scilly, situated 28 miles off the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.
The Tiger Aspect production was post produced by Prime Focus and the first episode airs on Monday 19 October at 7.30pm on BBC Two.
The new 14 episode series returns to find minister the Reverend David Easton struggling to come to terms with the biggest blow of his entire career - being voted off the island by a small group of his congregation in a secret vote. Meanwhile the four island men whose attempt to row home from New York ended in disaster find out that their wrecked vessel has washed up in Newfoundland and Heike and the local vet ponders whether she can afford a proper wedding with fiancé Alastair.
"The standard of professionalism and competence shown by the entire Prime Focus team - whatever the time of day, or however short the notice - has been nothing short of excellent," said series producer and narrator Nigel Farrell. "I can, without any hesitation, recommend Prime Focus' services, whatever pressure and tight budgets producers may be working under and however seemingly impossible the schedule."
Prime Focus colourist Richard Fearon graded the entire series. "I wanted to compliment the setting which offers a really beautiful backdrop so I provided a picture postcard look. I added slightly to the blue of the skies and brought some more of the colours out in the plants. We wanted it to look as pretty as possible so I gave it a boost where it was needed. I didn't want to give it a particularly stylised look as it wouldn't have suited the style of the programme. The key was to keep it looking natural and just make sure it all balanced out."
Clive Mattock onlined the series while audio work was done by Phitz Hearne and Kevin Boyle.
