UK Screen Association - Representing the UK's Post Production and Special Effects industries

BLUEBERRY FOUNDING MEMBER OF CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY

Blueberry Creative Consultants has teamed up with DECODE and WIDEi Films to form the Creative Development Academy - a group of likeminded creative businesses and individuals devoted to professional development.

The Creative Development Academy (CDA) will provide specialist masterclasses, events and training tailored for creative professionals in the film, TV and visual communications industries.

Wanted: Training by professionals, for professionals
Individuals and companies at the forefront of the UK's creative industry seldom need traditional training courses. Their work demands high quality, participation-focused short seminars that 1. Make business sense - respond to a genuine industry demand for innovation and the skills to match; 2. Target professionals and invite contributions of peers; 3. Get to the point - save money and time; 4. Look beyond simple technological innovation to provide creative inspiration.

CDA Masterclasses
CDA Masterclasses will be delivered by professional contributors with a common interest in keeping at the cutting edge of craft  in visual communications. Integrating business savvy, creativity and innovation, the CDA will be able to respond dynamically to the needs of the UK production and post-production industries.

Mastery of RED: CDA's first Masterclass weekend
The first CDA Masterclass will be held on Oct 31 - Nov 1 weekend and will focus on RED Workflows. With more and more productions using this low-cost, high quality digital technology, Producers, Directors, Editors and others in Production and Post need to know how to design workflows and budgets around RED and know how to use the technology to expand their creative boundaries.

Designed and delivered by Broadcast Consultant Jody Neckles, this intensive development weekend is designed for Production and Post staff planning their first project or already working with the RED camera format. The CDA's panel of speakers will share their experiences in the context of real world examples and break down the steps to achieve efficient workflows and the highest quality results.
