BT Mosaic takes UK Screen members to dizzy heights

UK Screen members we privy to a rare treat last week as over 70 members attended the BT Mosaic Event involving a trip to the top of the BT Tower for networking drinks.

Jon Mobbs (Head of Innovation and Development) and David Catchpole (Programme Director) for BT Media and Broadcast put together an interesting, informative presentation for the members demonstrating the versatility of BT Mosaic - a single web-based platform. They outlined how the platform allows the storage, search, retrieval from digital archive; on-line editing of material (rough cut editing, story-boarding) prior to craft edit; secure sharing and collaboration across business units, partners and third parties; the automation of a number of mechanical processes (standards conversion, export to platform) all across a global network of UK and international media communities.

Members were then taken to the top of the BT Tower to soak up the fabulous view and network over a few glasses of wine. We would like to thank all those who made it along, plus of course BT Media and Broadcast for putting together such a great event.
