Electric Sky, Brighton TV and Vision 3 unveil new 3D content facilitator company Ev3

Electric Sky, Brighton TV and Vision3 have announced the formation of a brand new company Ev3. Ev3 is a ground breaking business model which can provide a total solution to 3D content creation and distribution.

The collaboration draws on each company's own area of expertise; Electric Sky has been producing and distributing factual entertainment and documentary programming for over 10 years. Brighton TV has been supplying HD post production solutions for the broadcast industry for the last 6 years and Vision3 has 15 years experience in stereoscopic content creation and post production.

Ev3's mission is to guide producers though the 3D process helping them to get the best from this added dimension. Ev3 strives to use stereoscopic recording to create immersive 3D to extend the audience experience.

Services include consultancy, production, post production and distribution.

In March 2009 Opus Arte filmed the first ever complete ballet in 3D in conjunction with Brighton TV. Two performances of Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House were recorded with Vision3 as stereoscopic consultants; this led to the forming of Ev3. Swan Lake is currently being edited at Brighton TV'spurpose build facility.

Electric Sky is already developing 3D projects with a number of producers inorder to offer content for international distribution from 2010.
