Gary Brown and Mark Robinson have been nominated at this year's Primetime Emmy Awards.
|
Their work on the HBO Films / BBC Films production 'Into The Storm' has been entered into the category Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special.

Gary has been nominated for his role as Visual Effects Supervisor in which, as Head of Department he designed and supervised the filming of effects shots and supervision of UK effects houses Cinesite, Framestore as well as Munky.
Gary comments 'Not only is it a huge honour to be recognised by the Academy but especially nice that they have recognised us for a set of visual effects that were designed to sit quietly amongst the drama as opposed to the more cutting edge 'wow factor' visuals that I might have expected'.
Into The Storm, staring Brendan Gleeson as Winston Churchill, is a look at the former British prime minister's life and career at the end of WWII continuing the storyline of 'The Gathering Storm' (2002).
Mark Robinson is nominated for his contribution as Lead Visual Effects Compositor. The awards will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on 12th September.
