Leading HD and Surround Sound specialist create joint venture
Following years of successful collaboration on productions such as Later...with Jools Holland and BBC in Sessions concerts, audio post production specialist 2nd Sense has agreed a joint venture with HD video facility, Ace Post Production, Scrubs Lane.
The addition of a newly equipped sound suite will provide clients with cutting edge HD and 5.1 sound mixes all under one roof.
Tudor Davies, Director, 2nd Sense said; "We have set out to provide a very cost effective solution to the complexities of 5.1 mixing. The room suits small to medium sized productions that need to do a basic voice over session and sound mix. This leaves our larger sound suites in Elstree Studios available for more complex sound projects and larger recording sessions".
The new sound suite is equipped with a Pyramix version 6, Euphonix controller and Harbeth 5.1 monitoring. Most video formats, including HD Cam SR, can be used because of Ace's extensive range of machines. Layback is also available in Dolby E format.
Perry Bellisario, co-director of Ace, says "We are delighted to welcome the 2nd Sense team to our West London facility and to continue to grow on our working relationship."
The joint venture has already secured its first client with CBBC's The Legend of Dick and Dom. |
