BBC's team 'Charlotte's Webb' wins UK Screen's Pub Quiz

We'd like to congratulate 'Charlotte's Web' on winning UK Screen's pub quiz yesterday, taking away the cash prize.

Once again, it was a fantastic night at The Slug and Lettuce - Quiz Master Dave Messenger did a fine job on the quiz running a good mix of interesting rounds including music rounds, 'Franglais' and a great picture round of 'Mixed Films'.

Everyone was flummoxed on the 'Answer Link' round put together a great selection of rounds including picture, a cryptic and a music round.

It was an exciting tie breaker between 2nd and 3rd place, with IMG's team 'The Dongles' just beating the Rushes team by being able to guess most accurately the length of the Suez Canal.

We'd like to thank GearBox again for sponsoring this event and providing the equipment on the night.

The next quiz will be held in September (TBA) so get swatting up now!
