BRIGHTON TV FORMS A 3D STEREOSCOPIC PARTNERSHIP WITH SGO MISTIKA

SGO, a leading European developer of high-end solutions for the post production and broadcast industries, and Brighton TV, a leading UK facilities house, are pleased to announce they have formed a strategic partnership to develop SGO Mistika's 3D stereoscopic capabilities.

"The real-time capabilities of Mistika are some of the fastest I've seen and will help us develop a creative, advanced and flexible 3D toolset."  Jon Lee, Technical Director, Brighton TV.

Brighton TV is highly experienced in filming and post producing 3D stereoscopic content and has recently completed a number of high profile projects. This partnership will leverage the companies' respective strengths to enhance and grow their presence in the 3D stereoscopic market. SGO Mistika's extensive capabilities as a complete post production finishing system will enable Brighton TV to continue to service the current 2D market as well, with a state-of-the-art system.

Brighton TV's Technical Director, Jon Lee states: "This is a bold and exciting step for us to further develop our 3D stereoscopic expertise by partnering with a powerful finishing solution. The real-time capabilities of SGO Mistika are some of the fastest I've seen and will help us develop a creative, advanced and flexible 3D toolset."

Brighton TV is taking delivery of a Mistika system shortly and has just completed installation of a professional cinema environment with DCI Compliant Projectors and Screen on their premises. This will enable them to offer high-end grading and compositing solutions for both 2D and 3D as well as the full 3D stereo service from consultancy, filming, post production right through to delivery.

SGO Mistika is a powerful high end post production system capable of SD, HD, 2K, 4K, 3D Stereoscopic and real-time RED workflows.   SGO Mistika is an integrated timeline based editing, conforming, compositing, colour grading and image restoration solution. All tasks can be accomplished interactively, and most of them in real-time. The open architecture, intuitive interface, speed and scalability of the system makes it the most cost effective choice for post houses that need the power and flexibility to produce and deliver any project.

A powerful attribute that sets SGO Mistika apart from other systems is that its capacity to support Red Camera data natively is encompassed in its "One 4 All" philosophy that provides high end editing, conforming, compositing, image restoration, multi mastering and colour grading within a single ultra powerful system. Instead of segmenting these abilities into separate products, SGO has always combined all of those capabilities and functions together in one system, thereby enabling users to literally offer their clients a complete one-stop solution.
