New versions and new product launch raise creative bar and help to improve efficiency
Autodesk, Inc., will participate in the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, 18-23 April 2009. At NAB Autodesk expects to unveil a new product and showcase its latest visual effects, finishing, colour grading and animation solutions for film, television and commercial post-production.

Show attendees are also invited to view live workflow demonstrations focusing on the creation, sharing and reuse of assets across the entire production pipeline.
Autodesk customer showcase
Many of the film and television industry's top digital artists will demonstrate their stunning work at the main stage theatre in the Autodesk stand. Scheduled presentations include:
- Brian Mulligan, senior editor, WTHR TV Indianapolis, showcasing how it uses Smoke to create on-air promotions and commercials in a broadcast environment
- Steve Mottershead, director/Flame artist, Park Pictures/Artjail, demonstrating use of Flame in the creation of several television commercials, including Audi R8 Tunnel, Levi's Runaway Jeans and Nissan Grown Up
- Scott Malkie, post-production supervisor, The Martin Agency, showing several internal projects completed at its facility and also highlighting the broadcast community in Richmond, Va., and the ease with which facilities share data
- David Cole, senior digital colourist, LaserPacific Media Corporation, presenting his work with Lustre on the film comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno
- Kirk Balden, Flame artist/visual effects supervisor, Smoke & Mirrors NY, demonstrating the facility's use of Autodesk software for commercial production
Japanese and Spanish demonstrations: Tuesday 21 April 2009
The international presence at NAB continues to grow. In recognition of the global audience at the show Autodesk will present demonstrations in Japanese and Spanish at the main stage theatre in the Autodesk stand SL2120 on Tuesday 21 April 2009. The Japanese demonstration will be from 4pm - 5pm Pacific time, followed by the Spanish language demonstration from 5.30pm - 7pm Pacific time.
