ALIAS SMITH AND SINGH APPOINTS DANNY DAWSON AS UK HIRE MANAGER

Based at Alias Smith and Singh's central London office, Dawson will oversee the allocation of a vast range of technology recently acquired for hire including Sony EX1, Sony EX3 and Sony HDW F790 cameras as well as a complete range of lighting and audio kit support.

According to Alias Smith and Singh Managing Director Mike Smith, "We saw a need to strengthen our growing camera hire market share especially at our Pinewood Studios office as well as taking on new areas associated with it. Having worked with Danny for many years in the past, I knew he would be a perfect fit within our company and be in the best position to address the opportunities of our rapidly expanding market position. It's a real pleasure to have him join our team of seven key staff."

Dawson has extensive experience as a hire manager and freelance DV director, which will benefit the company's expanding high-end camera business. Moreover, it will enable Alias Smith and Singh to bring new camera technologies on board as they are launched as well as provide expert service and support for existing camera units.
