Autodesk and XTFX to showcase latest products across the UK
|
Autodesk Media & Entertainment and its UK reseller XTFX will be showcasing the latest versions of Autodesk visual effects, editing and finishing, and digital grading software at a series of events across the UK.
At IBC 2008, Autodesk announced the Autodesk Lustre 2009 digital grading system featuring automated stereoscopic tools, GPU acceleration and numerous workflow enhancements. Autodesk Lustre 2009 also runs on the same platform as the current releases of Autodesk's visual effects and editing and finishing systems, making it easier for facilities to add Lustre to their post-production workflows.
Autodesk also announced Extension 1 for Autodesk Inferno 2009, Autodesk Flame 2009 and Autodesk Flint 2009 visual effects systems, and the Autodesk Smoke 2009 editing and finishing system. Available exclusively to subscription customers, the extension releases offer real-time deliverables for mastering to multiple formats without rendering, an enhanced floating point toolset and additional compressed format support. Inferno, Flame and Flint have more than 80 new particle system presets while Smoke features improved editorial workflow.
