Hireworks invests heavily in new Avid systems.

Hireworks the Pinewood based Film and TV editing equipment rental company is continuing its current expansion by investing over £300,000 in new Avid technology.

The new systems include 5 Avid Nitris DX Systems, 2 Unity Systems and 4 Media Composer Adrenalines.  The systems were all ordered direct from Avid and add to Hireworks' impressive stock of equipment available for dry hire.

The company has made been growing steadily since its launch and as executive Chairman Lawrie Read says "We have won a number of exciting contracts for both Film and Television productions over the last six months, with more on the way. We anticipate demand staying strong in the coming months so we felt it was a good time to invest in more equipment to enable us to continue our growth strategy."

Hireworks have also just won new contracts to supply editing technology to four high profile new film projects - all shooting in a number of separate locations including Shepperton, Ealing and Elstree Studios - they also supplied HD vtr's to the upcoming Bond movie Quantum of Solace and the complete editing set up to the sixth film in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.  All this activity illustrates the company's continuing expansion.
