Steve Smith, Managing Director of Panalux (formerly the AFM Lighting Group) has been actively involved in the film and television industry for over twenty years. In this time he has played an integral part in guiding AFM Lighting Group to becoming one of the world's premier film & television equipment facilities, with international bases throughout Europe, Africa and Australasia.

AFM Lighting has grown steadily over the years to become an international market leader in the provision of film, television and broadcast equipment. Today, the AFM Lighting group of companies includes a number of international brands: Island Studios, ONE8SIX Camera, Grip & Video and the professional photographic rental facility, Kinetic.
