Originally from Los Angeles, in 1970 he created sound effects for Orson Wells Oscar winning Is It always Right to be Right. He arrived in London in 1971 to work on the animated series The Jackson 5. Dennis Weinreich worked as music engineer & producer with Queen, Supertramp and Wham, and with composers Michael Kamen, Richard Thompson, Rachel Portman. In 1982 he established Videosonics to make creative technology used in music available to television. Videosonics became one of the largest sound facilities outside the US. Current projects include: Alien verses Predator, Upside of Anger with Kevin Costner, White Noise, Something Borrowed and the latest series of ITV's award winning Foyle's War.
