Colin Brown
British Film Commissioner, UK Film Council 

Colin Brown was appointed British Film Commissioner in December 2006.

Prior to this Colin was Chairman of Cinesite Worldwide (Kodak subsidiaries), one of the largest and most comprehensive full service visual effects facilities in the world.  Recent visual effects projects include King Arthur (Disney/Bruckheimer), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Warner Bros.) and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Disney).  Colin's previous experience includes Managing the Facilities Division, European Television Networks (subsidiary of W.H. Smith); Managing director, Molinaire Ltd; Executive Vice President, Rank Cintel Inc. Colin has built up a powerful network of international commercial and creative contacts in the feature film business.

Colin has sat on the board of UK Screen Association since its inception.
